TRL & HPRIDC Recognised as a Rising Star in Global Road Safety

TRL is proud to announce its recognition as a Shining Star in the iRAP Gary Liddle Memorial Trophy, alongside the Himachal Pradesh Roads Infrastructure Development Corporation (HPRIDCL). This accolade was presented at the 2025 Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety in Marrakech, celebrating outstanding efforts to eliminate high-risk roads worldwide.

The award acknowledges TRL’s collaboration with HPRIDCL in enhancing road safety in Himachal Pradesh, India, through the application of TRL Software’s cloud-based Accident Analysis iMAAP Software. By leveraging advanced data analytics, this initiative has helped pinpoint high-risk locations, drive targeted enforcement campaigns, inform infrastructure improvements, and ultimately reduce road fatalities and injuries.

The iRAP Gary Liddle Memorial Trophy honours the lifelong contributions of the late Gary Liddle AO, former Board Chairman of iRAP, and recognises the world’s most effective road authorities in implementing safety measures.

TRL CEO Paul Campion said: “We are honoured to be recognised alongside HPRIDCL as a Shining Star in the iRAP Gary Liddle Memorial Trophy. This achievement highlights the critical role of data-driven decision-making in road safety. To date, iMAAP has saved over 25,000 lives around the world, and we are proud to support HPRIDCL, in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Police, in making Himachal Pradesh’s roads safer, smarter, and more sustainable.”
