TRL Team deliver iMAAP safety training to 300 law enforcement officers and transport authority personnel across Ghana

As part of the roll out of TRL Software’s world leading iMAAP Cloud Based Accident Analysis Software System in Ghana, a software that to date has saved over 25,000 lives around the globe, members of the team visited Ghana in May to deliver a two week long comprehensive training schedule.

Ghana has a progressive and proactive strategy to improve road safety for its citizens, with iMAAP playing an important role in this strategy.

The training took place in Accra, Kumasi, and Tamale on behalf of “National Road Safety Authority (NRSA)” and the team welcomed delegates from NRSA, BRRI, Ghana Police Service, MTTD (Motor Traffic and Transport Department), Department of Urban Roads (DUR) and Ghana Highway Authority (GHA). This included hands-on crash data collection training using tablets and smart phones. NRSA and Ghana Police/ MTTD will soon start using iMAAP software for their road accident data collection and analysis.

Tony Mathew, Head of Operations & Delivery for TRL Software commented ‘iMAAP is going to be a game changer for Ghana in accident data recording, analysis and informed decision making for limiting road accidents and saving lives on roads’
