iROADS Mobile

On-site workflows for site operatives in the field

iROADS Mobile is designed to enable all the core field activities involved in managing a road network – inspections, surveys, and works. Dedicated workflows support on-site operatives to complete their tasks efficiently – they have access to all the information they need, and in turn use the app to feed new information back to the central teams. The app also helps personnel understand and plan out their workload to be as efficient as possible.

Apart from this, the app provides a convenient way for anyone in the organisation to access useful information while on the go, even if they are not completing a specific task. iROADS Mobile is a native mobile app, available for both Android and IoS devices, downloadable via the Play Store and App Store respectively.

Inspections

All inspection activities can be undertaken using the mobile app – filling forms, raising defects, adding images/video/audio notes, and so on. Inspectors can also manage their workload, check asset data, and raise network incidents for urgent attention.

Video surveys

iROADS Mobile enables video surveys to be captured easily, quickly and at minimal cost. All captured imagery is spatially positioned and mapped to the network so that it can be used effectively.

On-site works updates

Maintenance operatives can feed back status updates and other information about ongoing works – this can be according to a predefined format, or ad-hoc as required, and includes the ability to add images/video/audio notes.

Offline capability

The app is designed to work seamlessly whether mobile connection is available or not. In cases where signal is lost, all data is stored on the device and automatically synced once connection is re-established.

Full data syncing​

The iROADS web and mobile apps share data to ensure the necessary information is always up-to-date and available. Asset inventory data, inspection outcomes, survey data, works orders, documents – all are seamlessly synced.
