Can I view reports in Excel?
When you generate a report in Junctions it appears in a HTML viewer, from where you can use the Convert menu to save it as a PDF or Word document. You can also view the report in Excel as follows:
- Generate the report
- Click in the report, then press CTRL+A to select everything, then press CTRL+C to copy the contents to the clipboard
- Go to Excel and press CTRL+V to paste the report
The formatting, font sizes and etc will not be perfect but if you scroll past the banner section, the tables themselves should be readable and you can easily select all in Excel and then change the font size and column widths and so on.
You can also copy and paste data from individual screens to Excel, using the normal Windows clipboard functions. In the general, the Copy button on the main toolbar in Junctions will copy ALL data from the screen that you last clicked on.
You can also copy data for all Demand Sets and/or Time Segments, by clicking Edit>Copy/Paste all Demand Sets/Time Segments. The data copied will be from the screen last clicked on before clicking this option (i.e. the currently active screen). For full details please see the User Guide.
