Showing directional arrows for links leaving the network

TRANSYT includes options to add ‘user arrows’ on links. These can be turned on/off by right-clicking on the link and then choosing from the menu (shown below). Alternatively – you could add an extra downstream bottleneck to any link on which you wish to show the route of traffic exiting the network. If you have TRANSYT 13 you can avoid the new link affecting the Performance Index by setting the link option “Exclude from calculation”. If you have TRANSYT 12 the stop and delay values should be set to -9999 to indicate zero weighting. Also the link length should be set to the minimum to minimise any effect on the mean speed within the network.
