Data entry windows keep going behind the diagram (or other windows) so I can’t see them and have to keep reloading them.
The behaviour depends on the version of Junctions that you’re using, but, assuming use of Junctions 9.5, here are some tips:
- If you double click on the title bar of any window, it will come out of the main Junctions window and will stay on top of all other windows. To put the window back inside Junctions, double click its title bar again. If you have two monitors you can in this way take the diagram (or any other window) onto your second monitor, away from the main window, so that it doesn’t interfere with other windows.
- You can often re-focus windows by clicking on their icon in the main toolbar. For example, if the OD matrix is behind other windows, simply click the OD matrix button on the toolbar to bring it back to the top. NOTE: if the screen is padlocked, then clicking the toolbar button will create a new instance of the window.
- Consider using the Window Layouts feature. This lets you save the current arrangement of windows, including their position and size, and then quickly restore that layout at any time. You can save several different layouts and can exchange them with colleagues. For full details please see the User Guide.
- You can quickly close all windows, taking you back to a blank slate, by clicking Windows>Close all windows.
