Junctions 10 Course - ARCADY/PICADY

NOTE: Courses currently alternate between on-line and in-person

Covering ARCADY and PICADY, this two-day course aims to provide you with a comprehensive grounding in how to use these two modules within Junctions 10 and how to interpret results.

This course will provide delegates with a useful appreciation of the most relevant traffic mechanisms and theory behind the software as well as practical information about how to use the program, including some of the new features introduced in Junctions 10.

This course is for anyone involved with the design of roundabouts and priority junctions, with or without current knowledge of ARCADY and PICADY. Familiarity with basic traffic engineering terms and methodologies is assumed. The course is also of great value to anyone examining submissions involving ARCADY and/or PICADY.

Consisting of a mixture of presentations, demos and practical exercises, the course runs over two days. Day one provides an introduction to ARCADY and PICADY and is suitable both for beginners and for those wishing to refresh their knowledge of the products. Day two covers more advanced features of both the traffic models and the user interface.

The topics covered on each day include those shown below.

If you would like to focus on any specific areas of the product please let us know when booking your place. We are also happy to arrange bespoke training, either at our offices in Wokingham or at your premises.
