able to apply site-specific adjustments\u00a0at priority junctions\u00a0in\u00a0a number of\u00a0scenarios, such as when you have blocking of the main road by right-turners, pedestrian crossings,\u00a0or flares on\u00a0the minor arm.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0After much investigation,\u00a0Junctions 10 now allows you to define capacity adjustments\u00a0for\u00a0any of the movements within the junction.\u00a0 For example, if you have a two-lane minor road or one lane flaring to two, you can now define an adjustment to the B-C (left turn movement)\u00a0capacity that the model calculates.\u00a0 Similarly, you can apply adjustments to all the other movements through your junction.\u00a0 Adjustments are made to the\u00a0initially\u00a0calculated\u00a0capacity only,\u00a0i.e.\u00a0it will be subject to further adjustments as and when necessary, due to the presence of various features, such a flare, pedestrian crossing, etc.<\/p>\n<p restrictions where traffic in one direction gives way to traffic from the opposite direction, sometimes with each direction giving way to each other.\u00a0 Examples include unsignalled shuttle working, traffic-calming build-outs, unsignalised roadworks, narrow bridges\/tunnels and so on. \u00a0These can now be modelled in Junctions 10.\u00a0 The requirement to model may not be particularly common, but there are various scenarios where it is needed, such as when the effect of the narrowing affects a more important adjacent junction\u2019s performance.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;]<div class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li>Model the above scenarios using new \u2018obstructions\u2019 on lanes in simulation mode<\/li>\n<li>Easy to set up by than it could not model before at all, and to more easily model some scenarios that it <u>has<\/u> been used to model but was not designed explicitly to model, such as one way entries and
